Baby Nursery Lighting by Lamps Plus

I hope your summer is off to a great start!

I’ve been busy decorating our baby nursery in preparation for the newest member of our family to arrive and have a few photos to share with you today along with a product review of the lighting I chose.

From the very first day we found out we were having a girl (click here if you missed that post), I knew I wanted her to have a sparkly chandelier hanging from the center of her room!  I had this vision of a very girly, crystal light fixture that resembled something from Cinderella and I was able to find THE PERFECT match for my vision at Lamps Plus…

This is the Chateau Vieux Collection Antique White Five Light Chandelier from Lamps Plus.  It came in the mail, very well packaged and super easy to put together.  My husband was able to install it for me in less than an hours time without any hiccups!  It even arrived with all the right parts and hardware which made installation a piece of cake.

I love the way it looks in the center of the room!!  It sparkles during the day when natural light comes through the window and it glows at night when turned on, reflecting light around the room.

The crystals are EXACTLY what I had in mind when dreaming of a beautiful chandelier for my daughter’s room.  Lamps Plus had so many pretty chandeliers to choose from that narrowing down to one was tough.  To see all of the other beautiful chandeliers they had to choose from, click here.

The way the strands of beads drape around the perimeter remind me of the white carriage Cinderella rode in after the fairy godmother waved her magic wand.  This is exactly what I was looking for, so dainty and feminine!!

The color of this chandelier is a true white.  It really brightens up the space and helps to break up a lot of the pink from the flamingo wallpaper and pink walls.

In addition to a chandelier, I also needed a table lamp that I could turn on in the middle of the night to offer some low light during feedings and late night diaper changes.  I chose this one, also from Lamps Plus….

It’s called the Rose Pink Ovo Table Lamp from Lamps Plus  and I absolutely love it because its the perfect shade of soft pink.  You can see with the peonies next to it, how pretty and soft pink it is.

I can’t decide if the lamp’s final resting place will be on the changing table or the side table next to the glider so I’m trying it out in both places…

One of my concerns when ordering lighting online was “is it going to look exactly like the picture when I get it in the nursery?”  You never know with different shades of pink!  I have to say the answer is “Yes!
