Our Plan for Valentine’s Day
What do you do for Valentine’s Day? This year, my husband and I are going to try something a little different and go out for an adult dinner date the night before Valentine’s Day. We figured, restaurants are over crowded on actual Valentine’s Day, a lot of them have set menus with inflated prices, and who wants to deal with any of that? So, if we go to dinner the night before and celebrate Valentine’s Day just the two of us, that leaves another day to spend with our kids and have Valentine’s again as a family.
Since we will be doing something with the kids at home for Valentine’s Day, I needed to come up with some decorations that they would enjoy, and ofcourse, have a little bubbly on the side for us too!
I found some cute XOXO balloons and fun heart straws at Party City that I knew would be kid friendly…
My New Bar Cart
I actually scored this bar cart last week and love it! I had been looking for the perfect multipurpose rolling cart to store all of my bead supplies on that would also double as a bar cart for outdoor entertaining. Our last bar cart that lived on our back patio was wood and you can guess how that story ends. I knew I was going to need something durable and versatile for any room, both inside and out. This acrylic cart was perfect for killing 2 birds with one stone!! It came with free shipping and asssembled. (all I had to do was stick the wheels on the bottom) *Update- this bar cart is now unavailable so I am linking a similar one here.
Im obsessed with this new bud vase set my sister-in-law gave me for Christmas!! It fits perfectly on the bottom shelf and holds tulips like they were made for it!
These pearl-stem champagne flutes are from our wedding. You can shop for them by clicking here with FREE SHIPPING.
Lastly, I found this cute pink container in the dollar spot at Target for $3. It’s perfect for holding the heart straws from Party City. The white heart doilies are from Hobby Lobby.
Well, that’s all for today. I hope I’ve given you some Valentine’s inspiration. Up next, Ashley Nicole Interiors shares her beautiful bar cart styled beautifully for Valentines Day! Be sure to check her out!
