I wish I was writing to you in a cute pair of jeans and a comfy sweater with some new booties, but sadly I am not.  Unfortunately the weather here in South Louisiana still feels like summer, in fact, we went swimming over the weekend. (insert emoji with girl smacking her forehead) However…

the inside of casa de Lemons to Lovelys is a cool 70 degrees and bursting with Fall goodness!

I am SO excited to be teaming up with 9 other talented bloggers to take you on a tour of our homes decorated with touches of Fall.

If you are following the tour in order, you just came from Kate’s lovely home at Kate Decorates.  Kate is a talented interior designer from the DC area who is sharing a “busy mom’s guide to seasonal decorating” today.  So many of us are pulled in a million directions with work, kids, family, extra curricular activities, etc. but we still want to make our homes feel warm and inviting so Kate has come up with 3 tips for Fall decorating that are quick, easy to execute, and inexpensive yet gorgeous! Go check her out if you haven’t already!

Today I’m going to share with you my Fall mantel.  As I’ve mentioned before, our house has a very open floor plan and we spend most of our time in the living room because it flows openly into the kitchen, dining room, and breakfast nook.  I always try to keep the mantel looking pretty because its the focal point of the room.  This year I wanted to incorporate some pink into our holiday decor because I’m on a pink high after having a baby girl in August!  Who am I kidding, I’ll probably still be using it by Halloween of next year.  Anyway, so when I saw the perfect pink pumpkins at Michael’s, I knew I had to have them!

Here are some pictures of our fireplace mantel dressed up for Fall.  I’ve included a complete source list below…

  1. Your mantle is gorgeous, Marci! I would never think to use pink pumpkins, but they definitely work!!! I love all the neutrals with the pop of pink. I’m a Louisiana gal as well, so I feel your pain with this weather. 😉

  2. Marci,
This is so elegant and beautiful! I love the pink touches and the soft muted tones. So unique and gorgeous. Michaels has the best pumpkins this year ! Stopping by from your Instagram post. Such a great fall tour!
