Not all kitchen faucets are the same. Finding the right faucet for your farmhouse sink can be tricky. Read on to see the faucet I selected for our new farmhouse sink and the features that make it so great.
There are thousands of different kitchen sink faucets out there to choose from which makes selecting the perfect one for your kitchen sink very complicated. Kitchen faucets vary in features such as size, color/finish, nozzle shape, retractable head, pressure gage, sprayer settings and the list goes on! After doing tons of research, I finally found what I feel to be is the perfect kitchen faucet for our farmhouse sink…
The Kitchen Faucet I Chose For Our Farmhouse Sink
(#AD) I chose the CULINA Semi-Professional (2.2gpm) Faucet by BLANCO and could not be more satisfied with it!!! It’s the perfect size faucet for our new farmhouse sink and it pairs nicely with our mixture of chrome and black cabinet hardware. See below for all the details and specifications of this state of the art kitchen faucet. To purchase this same faucet click here.
Features of the CULINA Semi-Pro by BLANCO
- Flexible steel spring spout for easy usage- long enough to reach all corners of our farmhouse sink
- Quick release magnetic hand spray- the entire spring spout is also magnetic so the base always brings the sprayer back to it’s “home” even if you can’t get the head of the sprayer back to the holder right away. This is probably my FAVORITE FEATURE and not many kitchen faucets do this.
- Dual spray feature- love this feature because I can switch to the stronger spray setting when cleaning those greasy pots and pans
- Solid Brass construction- heavy duty material that does not feel like its going to break
- 2.2 GPM Rate- great water pressure!
- Limited lifetime warranty
- Comes in 2 colors- Chrome and Polished Nickel
Things to Consider Before Purchasing a Kitchen Faucet
- Size- How far out does the nozzle need to project over the sink to reach the sink drain?
- Water pressure- Who wants a weak stream of water when doing dishes?!?
- Color/finish- Doesn’t have to be the same color as your cabinet hardware but it needs to complement it in some way.
- Sprayer capabilities- Make sure it has more than one pressure setting
I love the CULINA kitchen faucet by BLANCO so much that I put one in our laundry room sink too! Here’s a little sneak peak of that…
