Happy Holidays everyone and welcome to the Jennifer Rizzo Holiday Housewalk 2018! This is my first year participating in this beautiful Christmas tour and I am about to jump out of my own skin with excitement!!!!  I have been following the lovely ladies of this amazing tour for seven years now, gawking over all of their lovely homes decked out for the holidays!!!

I am so excited to be the 19th stop on the Jennifer Rizzo Holiday Housewalk….

My Home Decorated for Christmas

If you saw my home tour from earlier this week, you saw that I originally styled our old sled in front of the fireplace with lots of pretty presents all tied up with bows!  Well that didn’t last long because a certain little one year old decided that she would rather catapult every present off the sled and sit in it as if it were her very own personal sleigh ride.  After multiple attempts to keep her off of it, I just decided to move it to higher ground and start over with an entirely new vignette.  I wasn’t annoyed in the least bit because having another excuse to decorate something thrills me to no end!  So, here is our entryway all ready for Christmas, sleigh filled with presents and all…..

After decorating our tree, mantle, and entryway, I really felt compelled to tackle a Christmas tablescape. I LOVE setting the table for any event, especially Christmas!  It was my job as a little girl to set the table at my grandparents house.  We had formal dinners over there ALL the time!  My Grammy always had the nicest dishes in complete matching sets for every occasion, even just for Sunday lunch! I can honestly say she taught me everything I know about doing tablescapes.  I always think of her when I’m putting together a formal table…
