Halloween decorations are the perfect way to get your family excited about the month of October! Pick an area of your home and dress it up with some cute bats, pumpkins, mums, and witch hats for Halloween!
Halloween decorations have endless possibilities and are so fun to play around with. Although, I do have a confession to make…. I’ve never actually decorated for Halloween until this year. I always told myself I would wait until my kids were old enough to really get into it and just decorate for Fall instead, after all Fall is my favorite season! Here are some of my favorite Fall decor projects from the past…

- How to Paint Cinderella Pumpkins

This year with my little guy being 5 and REALLY into Halloween, the time has come to bust out the bats and witch hats and I could not be more excited about it!!! I partnered with JOANN to bring you the most festive Halloween decor out there!

Small orange pumpkins on “B” (I already owned these but here are some that are very similar for purchase)
SUPPLIES FOR MAKING THE BOO DECORATIONS
- black foam core board
- sharp scissors (my favorite are these for crafting projects)
- Scotch mounting tape
- 2 over the door wreath hangers
- if you are not hanging your wreaths on a picture frame and on a flat wall instead, use 3M wreath hanging hooks instead
- 2 round wreaths
- 3 small faux pumpkins
- hot glue sticks
- hot glue gun
HOW TO MAKE BOO DECORATIONS
- I drew a letter “B” pattern onto a piece of black foam core board with a pencil and cut it out with sharp scissors.
- Next, I took 3 small pumpkins and glued them with hot glue onto the top corner of the B board.
- Last, I hung the “B” board using Scotch mounting tape and I hung the yarn ball wreaths using over the door wreath hangers. (Sidenote- if you are using a flat wall to hang these BOO decorations, you can easily attach them to the wall via nails)
After setting up these Halloween decorations, my son immediately wanted to put his costume on and play around in it! We are SO pumped for Halloween now….
