Christmas tablescapes are so fun to create! Set the table for your guests and celebrate the holiday season together around a beautiful Christmas tablescape they are sure to remember!
I love setting the table for any occasion! As I’ve mentioned before, my Grammy always had THE BEST tablescapes and she taught me everything I know! As a result, I really enjoy coming up with new centerpieces and tablescapes for every holiday.
Here are a few seasonal tablescapes I have done in the past: Fall , Christmas, Thanksgiving.
If you are following the Eat, Drink, and Be Merry Holiday Progressive Dinner tour in order you just came from Worthing Court. Be sure to scroll all the way down to the bottom of this post to see a complete list of all the participants on this great tour!

Source List:
- tablecloth
- gold chargers-Homegoods. Look at these BEAUTIFUL chargers I found online though!
- faux garland
- gold ornaments
- gold candlesticks- no longer available but I’m linking a similar set here
- white dishes with gold dots- HomeGoods
How to Create a Christmas Tablescape
- Decide your color scheme/theme
- First, cover your table in a tablecloth with a bold pattern
- Next, build a centerpiece and place in the middle of the table (think about using candles, flowers, vases, ornaments, baskets, and/or serving platters of varying heights and sizes)
- Then, place large charger plates at each seat that are larger than your actual dishes
- After that, add your main dinner plate to the top of each charger. (I always pull out either our Christmas dishes or special China for Christmas. If you don’t have any fancy dishes, borrow them from a friend or family member)
- Adorn each plate and your centerpiece with unique and matching ornaments
- In addition, use place cards if necessary
Well that’s all for today! I hope you’ve enjoyed this stop on the Eat, Drink, and Be Merry Home Tour!

You have really knocked it out of the part with your table decor Marci. It is simple and elegant and I’d love to be a guest right there.
Marci, I love your tablescape, especially the beautiful detail on the table linen (so glad you added a detail shot)! Great tips too on how to design your tablescape. I agree with you, it’s so fun for me to plan and design holiday tablescapes each year! I’ve enjoyed being a part of this Holiday Progressive Dinner Blog Tour with you! XOXO, Sarah

Thank you so much Debbie! Merry Christmas!
Your table was so beautiful loved the cloth and the way it flowed so freely off the table! The polka dots were so cute and I loved the gold color and the reindeer theme! Just so very lovely.
Have a wonderful Christmas Marci!
