Welcome to the 2021 Holiday Housewalk! Read on to see 37 homes decorated for Christmas!
Thank you for joining me again this year for the Holiday Housewalk hosted by Jennifer Rizzo. It’s such an honor to be apart of this Christmas home tour and I look forward to it every year. If this is your first time taking the tour, grab a latte and follow the links at the end of each post to take you to the next house.
Today is Day 2 of the tour and I am stop number 10. If you just came from visiting Sheila Irwin’s home from Maison De Cinq, welcome!
Sheila’s french farmhouse style is gorgeous this time of year!
Welcome to my home! This was my second year to decorate for Christmas in this house since moving in last year. I’m still figuring out how to work with Saltillo tile and I wish I could say it’s growing on me but I won’t go that far. However, I did find some pretty ornaments and new ribbon this year that complement the terracotta hues. Thank the good lord earthy tones are a thing right now…..
Our Christmas Tree
I’m still loving our flocked tree and this year my favorite part of the tree is how much my new rust colored ornaments and velvet ribbons stand out against the snowy branches. I found some new, inexpensive velvet ribbon online and tied small pieces of it into bows all over the tree. I really think I could have stopped there and just decorated the entire tree in bows. If a little tiny bow doesn’t put a smile on your face, do you even have a face?
Nativity Scenes
It wouldn’t be Christmas without a nativity scene and I love having different sets!
I always let the kids help me set up the manger and wise men and we talk about the true meaning of Christmas. This is the first year baby Jesus hasn’t gone missing so things are looking up at the Schneider Residence!
Kids Trees
I thought it would be fun to show my kid’s trees at night this year because both of them sleep with their trees on every night. They love the glow of a tree just as much as their mom and it makes me so happy…
Each year they get to pick 1 small set of new ornaments. This year sister picked some adorable, miniature pink deer…..
My son really wanted to add some Grinch ornaments to his tree so I found these for him at Hobby Lobby…
and then had an extra surprise waiting for him when he came home from school….

Mantel Decor
This year I wanted to keep the mantle decor super simple. I found this inexpensive chiffon ribbon online, tied a bow with an extra long sash and called it a day. Sometimes it’s the simplest of things that make the biggest impact…..
Well that’s all for this year. Thank you so much for stopping by my Christmas home tour! Be sure to visit the next stop on the tour, Julie from Red Head Can Decorate
That tree with the browns is SO gorgeous~ Love the colors and the cozy vibes!
Your flocked tree is perfection! Love the color combination! Merry Christmas
Thank you so much Julia!! Merry Christmas!
Hi Marci! I love your long red bows…I might try that this year (oh no more decorating ha ha). Your decorating is perfection!
Your kids must be thrilled to have that tree and I love the little pink deer ornament that matches the larger one I have on my mantel!
Marci, I’m obsessed with your flocked tree and those beautiful rust ornaments! So lovely. I also loved seeing the glow of the kids’ Christmas trees. There’s something magical about Christmas lights!
Such a cute tour Marci – and I love the little wooden Happy Holidays garland – sooo adorable!
