It’s that time of year again to start decking the halls with Christmas decor! Thank you for joining me again this year for the Jennifer Rizzo Holiday Housewalk! I look forward to this day every year! Today is Day 4 of the tour and I am stop #25.
If you are arriving here from My Uncommon Slice of Suburbia, thank you for joining me! Her home is beautifully decorated for Christmas isn’t it?!?!
Welcome to our home! This is our first year to spend Christmas in our new house so it’s my first time to decorate for the holidays here as well. Follow along with me as I give you a tour of our home all dressed up for the holidays!
Christmas Decor in the Living Room
If you followed along with our renovation on Instagram you probably saw that hanging this mantle was quite a task. My one goal for installing the mantle was to have it up in time to hang stockings for Christmas…

I wasn’t quite sure what colors to use with our Spanish tile floors but I settled on muted golds and whites to keep everything neutral and added a few playful touches to the bar in the kitchen. I’m still loving our King of Christmas flocked trees!
I love displaying a nativity scene somewhere in our home during the holidays to remind us of the reason we celebrate Christmas. Sometimes baby Jesus goes missing and I find him in various rooms of the house hanging out with baby dolls.
I’ll never be able to part with my vintage sled I found at a local consignment store a few years ago. It will forever travel with us wherever we move and make its debut during Christmas time even though it will probably never see the sight of snow or be used as an actual sled…
Christmas Bar
What’s Christmas time without a holiday cocktail? Decking the halls means decking the bar in the kitchen too! If you want to try a delicious holiday cocktail recipe click here.

Christmas Decor in my Daughter’s Room
I let the kids decorate their traditional trees with all of their cute themed ornaments. Sister’s tree looked extra girly this year with some pretty pink striped ribbon I found and her adorable new wallpaper!

Christmas Decor in My Son’s Room
My son has always taken pride in decorating his own Christmas tree since he was 3 and this year he was finally able to do the entire thing all by himself. (Except the top because he couldn’t reach). His favorite part is putting together the train set around the bottom. I’m so proud of him and adore his love for Christmas traditions!
