Hello all,

Today I wanted to share with you some inspirational gallery wall pics and a simple “how to” technique that I used to create my recent gallery wall in our master bedroom.

Incase you missed my post about our new “prayer corner” I created in our master bedroom, you can read about it here.  Here is a photo of the space…

I purchased all of the frames from Target except the 4 perfectly square ones were “buy 1 get 1 free” at Michael’s.  I LOVE how this wall turned out even though it was a little tricky making sure all of the frames were perfectly straight and centered…

Before I ordered the black & white photos, I had to figure out which direction (vertical or horizontal) each frame was going to hang on the wall.  To do this I first traced each one onto a piece of craft paper and cut it out to use as a “mock frame”.  Then I taped the mock frames to the wall with painter’s tape and played with the orientation until I got it how I wanted it…

not a great photo sorry (cell phone shot)

Once I figured out the final arrangement and orientation, hanging the frames was easy because I was able to trace the top line of each “mock frame” and then I used that line as a base line to measure from for the actual picture hanger and nail.  And tadah…

Here are some other pictures of Gallery Walls that I LOVE and used for inspiration in doing this project…
