Christmas came early for me this year when my new Cricut Explore Air™ 2 machine came in the mail!!!  I could not wait to open the box and start playing with it immediately!!! I felt like a kid that just received a brand new toy….

The suspense was killing me so all I wanted to do was stay up waaaay past my bedtime and play with my new toy!!  Being creative and doing some kind of hands-on project has always been a stress reliever for me.  It helps me decompress from the daily whoas of motherhood.

Setting Up the Cricut Explore Air™ 2 

After taking the Cricut Explore Air™ 2 out of the box, set up was extremely easy!  All I had to do was turn the machine on and download the Cricut app on my phone.  Then, I followed the very simple prompts to start my first project!  I had everything ready to go in under 5 minutes.  Immediately, two very fun and easy projects came to mind once I got everything ready to go.

First, I made some “Merry Christmas” tags to go on our outdoor wreaths….

I love how they add a little something extra to an otherwise ordinary wreath, especially when they are all lit up at night time!

 

Next, I made a gift tag for some wine that we will be giving to a friend as part of an annual Christmas tradition.  It was so easy letting the Cricut Explore Air™ 2 do all the work!

Is that not the cutest gift tag!?!  Now it looks like I went to a ton of effort to create something so custom and meaningful for the receiver of this wine.
