Bathroom Storage

Hello all,
As I continue my attempt to get us organized for the new year, I decided to tackle our master bathroom storage issues! Â Well, I didn’t decide, the baby decided! Â Now that he is into absolutely everything, we cannot have shelves that are low (no matter what we put on them) or anything that can be pulled over easily (like small side tables or floor lamps). So that means the shelf that I built for our bathroom towels and accessories had to go! Â I was kind of bummed to get rid of it at first because this shelf was the first piece of furniture I ever built totally by myself. Â At some point I will do a tutorial about how I built it. Â For now, here is a picture and a brief summary of the directions below….
- towels-Pottery Barn (wedding gift)
- wire basket for toilet paper- Patina Interiors Consignment Store
- glass vase-Pottery Barn (housewarming gift)
- faux tulips- Gordon’s Home
- faux succulent- Hobby Lobby
- faux mercury glass container- originally clear glass container from Hobby Lobby. Â Painted the inside using a faux mercury glass tutorial I found online. Â (may share this tutorial later in another post)
- glass cotton ball container-Pottery Barn (wedding gift)
- double tiered soap tray-Gordon’s Home (it’s original purpose was to display baked goods)
Love this piece! Is that melaleuca deodorant I see????
It sure is!!!! We both use the Alloy by Melaleuca and it works great!!! No harmful toxic aluminum or parabens.
